Zeah Aquilina and Alaiya Cini Take Two of the Three Wins on the First Day of Battles

The journey on The Voice Kids Malta has now moved into the Battles, and for La Voix Studios, this stage brought a particularly special moment.

On Team Destiny, three Battles produced three winners - and two of those three winners were Zeah Aquilina and Alaiya Cini.

After already seeing both singers step onto the Voice Kids stage during the earlier rounds, the Battles presented a completely different challenge. This time, it was no longer simply about delivering a strong individual performance. Each singer had to share the stage, adapt, listen, blend and still find the right moments to allow their own identity to come through.

Zeah Aquilina emerged as the winner of Battle #2, earning her place in the next stage of the competition. Her performance showed composure and musical maturity in a format where every detail matters and where the ability to work within a group is just as important as standing out.

Then came Battle #3, where Alaiya Cini secured another win for La Voix Studios. Alaiya approached the Battle with confidence and character, making the most of the opportunity and earning her own place moving forward.

Having two La Voix students win two of Team Destiny's three Battles is a result we are extremely proud of, but what makes the achievement even more meaningful is seeing how both Zeah and Alaiya have developed throughout the experience.

The Battles demand a very different kind of preparation. Singers have to remain focused on their own performance while reacting to the people performing alongside them, balancing individuality with teamwork and handling the pressure that comes with knowing that only one singer can progress.

Both Zeah and Alaiya rose to that challenge.

A huge congratulations to Zeah Aquilina and Alaiya Cini on their Battle wins, and also to all the young singers who shared the stage with them. Every Battle represents an enormous amount of work, preparation and courage from everyone involved.

For Zeah and Alaiya, however, the Voice Kids Malta story continues - and we cannot wait to see what comes next.
