Original Songs

There's a lot of talk lately about AI and songwriting, so I wanted to share where we stand at La Voix.

We absolutely encourage our singers to be creative, and if you want to use AI to sketch an idea or get a feel for how a song might sound, that's great, we do that ourselves all the time. But there's a real difference between crafting a song and simply generating one.

Always ask for help and opinions along the way. To take a song to the next level, whether that's competing or releasing it, it needs to be professionally produced. AI generated songs are not accepted unless clearly stated as such.

La Voix has grown so much in this area, and producing a song properly doesn't cost a fortune anymore. If you've written your own lyrics, I'd also recommend involving a songwriter to make sure everything lands the way you want it to. We have our own songwriters, both English and Maltese, who are more than happy to help you finish what you've started.
