Brillanti Juniors Starts Tomorrow – Nine La Voix Students Step Into the Spotlight

Another exciting television journey is about to begin.

Brillanti Juniors launches tomorrow, 1 October, bringing the popular Maltese talent show back to television with a new edition dedicated entirely to young performers aged up to 13. More than 120 youngsters applied for this season, with 60 progressing to the initial auditions. The programme airs every Thursday at 8:30pm on ONE.

And we are delighted to see nine singers from La Voix Studios among the young artists taking to the Brillanti stage:

Zaya Darmanin, Hailey Vella, Emily Fava, Jade Schembri, Benji Herrera Role, Lena Muscat, Arielle Zammit, Naielle Grixti and Julia Mallia.

For each of them, Brillanti Juniors represents a new kind of challenge. A television talent show asks for much more than simply being able to sing. There are cameras, a live stage environment, judges, unfamiliar surroundings and the pressure of having only a short time to show who you are as a performer. It is the sort of experience that can teach a young artist an enormous amount, regardless of how far the competition eventually takes them.

This new junior edition will be hosted and produced by Joseph Chetcuti, with Miriana Conte, Matt Blxck and West End performer Dianne Pilkington making up the judging panel.

What excites us most is the variety within our own group.

From some of our youngest performers taking important early steps on a major stage, to singers who are continuing to build on previous performance experience, every one of these nine artists arrives with a different voice, personality and story.

And that is exactly how we want it to be.

At La Voix Studios, development has never been about creating singers who all sound or perform the same. Opportunities such as Brillanti allow young artists to discover what makes them distinctive, learn how they respond under pressure and gradually become more confident in their own artistic identity.

So as the first episode approaches, there is plenty of excitement at the studio.

To Zaya, Hailey, Emily, Jade, Benji, Lena, Arielle, Naielle and Julia - enjoy the experience, take in every moment and make that stage your own.

We are already incredibly proud to see so many members of the La Voix family embarking on this journey together.
