The next chapter of Beppe Caruana’s remarkable journey has officially begun.

Following his victory on The Voice Kids Malta, Beppe has now released “Blue Bird”, the song with which he will represent Malta at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2026, and this time, the international stage will be right here at home. Eurovision Song Contest

For everyone at La Voix Studios, this is an especially exciting moment. We have watched Beppe grow through years of training, performances and opportunities, under the coaching and guidance of Gillian Attard. Now, just days after being crowned the winner, the focus turns towards Junior Eurovision.

And “Blue Bird” is not simply a song that was handed to Beppe to perform. Beppe himself was involved in the songwriting process, contributing to the lyrics alongside Matt Blxck, Matthew James and Muxu.

The music was created by Matt Blxck, Matthew James and Muxu, making the entry an opportunity for Beppe to have a genuine creative role in the song with which he will represent his country.

A Song About Finding the Magic Around You

“Blue Bird” carries a bright and uplifting message, using the image of the blue bird as a reminder to listen to your heart and discover the colour and magic that can exist even in the simplest things.

It is a song that feels naturally suited to Beppe - youthful, energetic and full of personality, while still giving him the opportunity to tell a story through his performance.

The official music video takes that story beyond the song itself, following Beppe across different locations around Malta as he follows the magical blue bird.

For a Maltese entry being performed on home soil, that connection to Malta makes the release even more meaningful.

From The Voice Kids Malta to Junior Eurovision

Only a short time ago, Beppe was making his way through The Voice Kids Malta - from the early stages, through the Battles and Sing-Offs, and ultimately to the final where he was crowned the winner.

That victory earned him the honour of representing Malta at Junior Eurovision.

But Beppe's story did not begin there.

He started singing lessons at just four years old and has already accumulated an impressive amount of stage experience for an 11-year-old. He has performed in musical theatre productions, appeared at Zecchino d’Oro in Italy and previously reached the final of Malta’s Got Talent as part of La Voix Harmonies.

Each of those experiences has formed part of the journey leading to this moment.

Now comes the biggest stage yet.

Malta, Meet “Blue Bird”

On 24 October, Beppe will walk onto the Junior Eurovision stage at the Malta Fairs & Conventions Centre in Ta’ Qali, representing Malta in front of an international audience — in his own country.

For La Voix Studios, seeing one of our young singers progress from his earliest training and performances to becoming The Voice Kids Malta winner and Malta’s Junior Eurovision representative is something incredibly special.

Beppe, enjoy every second of what lies ahead.

“Blue Bird” is out now - and the road to Junior Eurovision has officially begun. 💙
